It's been quiet around here lately.
I've thought about blogging. I've meant to blog.
Sometimes though, life is begging to be lived and not from behind the computer.
I blame the fact that Fall has mostly arrived.
I say mostly because it's suppose to be in the 80s over the weekend #nothanks
So, what have we been up to?
Things have been different around here. In good ways.
We've been out of the house a lot more since the weather has been nice.
I've been taking the kids on lots of walks, even to the park.
On Monday we walked to the park, my moms, and the park again.
It was fun and we had a great day, but man did my legs hurt!
It's great for all of us to get out in the fresh air. I think it lifts are spirits!
I also started going to a Bible Study, which I am SUPER excited about.
I haven't been apart of a Bible Study since college
and the book Boundaries has been on my "to read list" for a while!
I'm hoping that it teaches me a thing or two
and hopefully I can get to know some of the other ladies in the study. I would love that!
Braden and Maeva also spent some time in the nursery at the church.
The first time they have been watched by someone other than family or close friends.
It's good for them, I think! And me too!
I'm also in the process of trying to get up before everyone else in the house.
It hasn't happened yet. Mostly because my alarm is having issues and not going off.
I need to figure that out because it just won't happen otherwise.
I've been drinking lots of coffee in preparation! ;)
Speaking of coffee. I am going to be hosting a mug swap.
If that's something you think would be fun then be on the lookout Monday for details.
I'm so excited and hope I can pull it off. I love coffee and have a mug problem, so this will be fun!
Well, those are just a few things going on around here.
What have you been up to? How's life?
I'll get back to blogging a lot more next week
because there are things swishing around inside my head.
Happy almost Friday friends!
this is probably borderline creepy/stalkerish and for that I apologize... but, I just saw your comment on Camp Patton's IG post and the fact that you have a girl Sutton. My Sutton is almost 2 and I don't hear the name on girls very often so I get a little over excited when I do! And even though she has hair long enough for pig tails now, people still always seem surprised when a girl walks in (dr appts, first day of nursery school, etc). I figure she'll either love me because she'll never have to be known as Sutton R. (my name is Jennifer so I was Jennifer S. all throughout school) or she'll hate me because she'll spend her life correcting people who assume she's male :) Anyways - this was a really longwinded way to say that I obviously love your name choice!
ReplyDeleteYay for mug swaps, I'm totally in! :) And so true, life needs to be lived. Don't feel bad for taking breaks or not posting.
