We're walking!

The other day Mavey took a few steps.
I really didn't think much of it because it was so little and she didn't do it again.
However, yesterday she took 7 steps! I couldn't believe it!
I can't believe our little girl is walking.
I can't believe she's going to be 1 in a handful of days.
I can't believe I'm going to have two toddlers...
And a baby that will be here before we know it.
Motherhood is hard, but exciting and rewarding.
I love watching my babies grow up, even if it does cause my heart to ache a bit.
It's the best job I'm ever had and I'm glad it's mine forever.

P.S. The potty is clean. I just don't want her to think she can play in it. =)

Dear Braden

You, my sweet little boy, are growing so fast.

Too fast for mommy and daddy. 

It makes my heart ache... in good ways and in sad ways.

I love hearing you say new things like "car" and "yes".

I love watching you do new things like crawling up onto your water table (scares me, but you are reaching new milestones!), kissing me, and blowing raspberries on my stomach. 

I wonder how you learn these things.

They make me smile and laugh.

But it makes me realize how time really does go too quickly.

Don't grow up too fast, okay? 

I say that, but I know you will... 

Because this time together, you being little, only lasts a little while.

Know though, sweet boy, that no matter what you will always be my baby boy.
