May I escape please?

Everyday it seems like he's growing up more and more.
He looks a bit bigger.
Screams a bit louder.
Or does something new.

For example, sometimes he needs a little down time by himself. I put him in his crib to play with some toys. I was in the bathroom trying to do something with my hair...still able to see into his room.
I don't see him in his crib, but I do see his little hand on the side of his crib, which I've never seen before.
I walk into his room and this is what I see.

He's up on his knees, wanting out apparently. This may seem like its not a big deal, but he's never done this before and according to babycenter updates I receive some 8 month olds can pull themselves to standing position. I'm just worried he's going to launch himself out of the crib.
Oh, hi mama.
Stuck, which means tears.
Happy again. Seriously, this kid can go from happy to sad to angry in seconds.
Its amazing.

Time to raise the crib bar, don't ya think?

  1. Oh my goodness! I can't believe he's doing that! I think it's got to be a good thing!

  2. You never know...I'd move the crib to a lower position if I were you. My daughter was pulling herself up to standing at the end of her 6th month. We lowered the crib immediately, all the way to the lowest setting. It's better to be safe than sorry!
Your little guy is adorable. I love babies!!!
