God inspires

I have a relationship with God, but honestly, most days the relationship is a struggle. I think about God on a daily basis. I talk to Him throughout the day and know in my heart what He wants me to do in areas of my life, but do I always listen? The truth is, no. A lot of the time I am selfish. Always, I am a sinner. I pray and ask Him what to do. He gives me answers, but do I follow through? Not always. Don't even get me started on reading my Bible. I can go a long time without picking it up. I will read scripture from my phone or via pinterest and sometimes I will glance at my Bible. I don't do it enough, but I guess some is better than not at all. His words do speak to my heart, so I need to go to it more.

I hope you are able to find encouragement and inspiration through His words.
I want to be kept on track and He's really the only one that can show me the way.
So, show me the way Lord.
I just love this verse. It just places a beautiful image in my mind.
Something I always need to remember! As long as I love, I can never fail.
Love, from God and others is precious. Being able to love others is a gift!
Jeremiah29:11 is a verse that comes to mind often when I doubt the future!
I may not know, but God does!
The future is bright, He promises!
Everyday, Lord, I need to come to Your throne for mercy and grace.
Help me to do so. I need it!

  1. I can relate to you a lot with the relationship being a struggle but, as long as you have that relationship at all is a good thing. Just have to keep working on it and really living through him everyday.. :D

  2. Every time your heart/mind turns to God, His heart skips a beat. He's not interested in a religion of guilt. My husband's love is made up of the little things that add up daily...and the special heart to hearts that don't happen all the time... Our marriage with God is like that. He wants us to live free and joyful in His love, no expectations, no guilt. Just freedom to be His, and to be loved by Him.
The more you get to know Him, the more you will not be able to be away from Him and His amazingness. =) All He wants is a heart that wants to be His. He wants you to know Him more than you want to know Him. Praying for you friend. His love is deep, His love is wide, and I pray that you dwell in this today.
    Much Love!

  3. Kassie, thank you for visiting!

I love your inspiration. This morning after I added my link (Gussy Sews) I thought--oh! I did not mention my faith. It was great to read your thoughts and the picks you found.
