Favorite Reads

I haven't read a ton of blog posts this week. At least, not as many as last week ;)
I must tell you that I read certain blogs on a pretty consistent basis...
So, not all these are new.
Still read them. You won't be disappointed. At least I hope not!

Conversations with Julia
This post on Camp Patton is so funny.
Every single conversation cracked me up! I can't decide which one is the funniest!
I was definitely a fan of the Julian Michaels comment because I totally agree!

Success is just a 7 letter word
I completely agree with this post by Alissa from Rags to Stitches.
I know I'm guilty of holding back things I'm excited about or comparing myself.
I think everyone can benefit from this post!

Drops of Awesome
Megan has quickly become one of my favorite bloggers...
Because I see myself in what she writes. This post is no different.
I relate to it so much and it's such a great idea.
She also passed on this post which is what inspired her post.
It's such a wonderful idea that I need to take ahold of!

When Real Life Calls
My friend Julie wrote a post that I think all bloggers need to read.
Such a good reminder to me.
Life isn't really about blogging...
There's way more to it than that!

Read any good words this week?
Please pass them on! =)

Favorite Reads + Time Outside

I've been keeping up with blogs a lot better now that I've decided to share my favorites of the week on Fridays. Here they are!

The ugly side of the online community - Lindsay writes some tips on how to deal with the ugly side of the online community. I'm sure every one deals with it, I know I have! This was a good reminder on how to deal with it!

Desire to Inspire - I like this post by Amanda for the truth it speaks. Do our judgements lead people to God? No. That's a truth I needed to hear.

The 1 Command... This post by Ann Voskamp just spoke to my heart. We need to love reguadless of our differences. I want to love like that. It's a beautiful thing and it's what God wants.

I want to be awesome at humility  I related to this post by The Tiny Twig because I've been there.
I've felt like I wasn't enough because I can't always keep our place clean. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I hate goodbyes - This post by Kristen is about google getting rid of GFC. She looks on the bright side and made some good points! I'm sort of, kind of (only a little bit) glad it is going. Kind of.

4 benefits of not dating in high school - Even though I'm not in high school I enjoyed this post by Erin. I, myself have wished I hadn't dated in high school or even college. She had some very good thoughts here! She's so inspiring!

What did you read this week that you enjoyed? Please share!

Favorite Reads of the Week

Happy Friday Friends!

I've been thinking about dedicating Fridays, here on the blog, to other blogs. There are so many great blogs out there, so many great people and I want to share some I've enjoyed.I think as a blogger it's fun to share posts that have inspired you, lifted you up, or ones you just loved! It shows support in this community and I think that's pretty important! It also helps me to keep reading blogs, which I always want, but sometimes its hard to make the time!

Here are some reads I've enjoyed this week.

A Fundraiser for Bella -- This post is written by one of my dear blogging friends, Jess. I love this girl. She's been super encouraging to me through my blog, twitter, and even email! This post is for her sweet little niece who has cancer. Jess is doing a fundraiser through Pampered Chef, where 100% of the purchase goes to help her niece. I'm so heartbroken for sweet Bella, but am going to help by buying something!

Three lessons to every woman in her twenties  - I loved this post by my blogging friend Ashley. This girl is so inspiring and encouraging! She's on a mission to encourage and I'd say she does it well! This post hit home to me because these lessons were just ones I needed to hear. Her words just went straight to my heart and I know they are truth! Thanks for sharing this girl!

Things I'm loving - This post is by Megan from And here's to you Mrs. Robinson. I just enjoyed it. She shared what she's been loving lately, which includes some other blog posts you should read (like the one I'm about to mention).

Saying Yes - These words by Amberly just hit me and convicted me. It's a post about marriage and always answering your husband with a yes. Really, just read it because her words are better! I also love that she sets a goal every month for her marriage. A wonderful idea that I may need to adopt!

Contradictions of Motherhood  - A friend from college wrote this post. Motherhood can be oh so hard, but it is a great thing! She writes about this beautifully. Whenever I read her blog I always feel like I'm reading a piece of poetry. So beautiful and so her heart!

Just a few of my favorite reads from this week!

August Sponsors

Today I want to introduce you to my August sponsors! Currently I am only doing ads in swapping fashion, but hopefully in the near future that will change! Bare with me as I figure this all out. Now, onto the fun part - these wonderful ladies!

Hannah blogs over at Hurley Love. She's been blogging about 4 years, but really started getting into blogging with she was pregnant with her cute baby girl! If you visit her blog you'll see thoughts of motherhood, being a wife, and Christian.

Pop on over and say hello! I love this recent post about her little girl turning 3 months old!
Those cheeks - look perfect for squeezing and kissing! =)

You can find Hannah here: blogtwitterfacebookhello cottonpinterestgood reads, instagram

Jenn blogs over at My Not So Glamorous Life where she writes about real life.
On her blog she writes about her children, the messes that happen (because with kids, messes happen all the time), and all that comes with being a mom!

Head on over at check out her blog! Love this post where she whipped up some shaving cream paint for her kiddos + her niece and nephew! It looks like fun, but I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to do that with my kiddo!

You can  find Jenn here: blog twitterfacebookblog lovin', pinterest

Kristina blogs over at The Streeters Unlimited . She writes a little bit about everything: Family life and being pregnant, having faith, things that inspire her, and food.

I really love this post about her feelings towards blogging. She loves to blog, but its different than journaling for her. She admits that she wants to be more open on her blog, put her heart out there more, but that once you put it out there on the internet, you cannot take it back. Really, her words are better than my own, so go read! =)

You can  find Kristina here: blog, twitter,  etsy

Alyson blogs over at Eisley Rae. She blogs about her family as her children are a huge inspiration to everything she does in life! She is also one crafty lady! She stitches hoops, so you should definitely check out her shop! I'm lovin' the camera hoop!

Also read this post about her family of four going camping for the first time. Her kids are just too cute!

You can  find Alyson here: blogshoptwitter,  facebook.

This is Jenny and she blogs over at Chandelier Jenny. She writes about being married, being pregnant, and crafty things! She is having a little boy in a few months and her baby bump posts are some of my favorite because she is just so darn cute!

You really should check out all her baby bump posts because I just love how she dresses it!
Take a look at the latest one - 24 weeks.

Kassi is my last sponsor for the month. She blogs over at Truly Lovely and her sister, Kayli blogs aside her. I like Kassi because, well, are names are almost the same! ;) Kassi and Kayli blog about all things lovely - outfits, recipes, tutorials, anything they find lovely!

I really like this 25 before 25 post by Kayli and this 30 before 30 post by Kassi.
I'm always so impressed by people who are able to make a list of things they want to accomplish and then actually do so! Really an inspiration to me and maybe I'll do the same soon!

You can find these ladies here:  blogtwitterfacebookpinterest

I am so glad to have these ladies as sponsors! It's been fun getting to know them and scooping out their blogs a bit more! Be sure to check them out, give them some love, and come back to read words from them when some guest post! =)

Scarf swap goodies

I know I've said it before, but I love the blogging world.
There have been times when I've thought about quitting because blogging takes a lot of time,
but then I find people I connect with and it reminds me of one of the reasons I do this.
I love the people... they are encouraging, kind, loving, and giving.

Krysten over at Why Girls Are Weird hosted a Scarf Swap
I love things like this because its fun to get connected with other bloggers, that you've possibly never come across and exchange care packages with. My swapping partner was Kim from Our Life- Unscripted
I was suppose to link up a few weeks ago, but silly me didn't send her my complete address. I blame it on mommy brain! =) I was excited to see the package on the steps today after all that!

Here's what she sent:
A red scarf. I'd been wanting one for so long! This one is ruffled, soft, and just all around perfect!
A mason jar glass. Its actually called A Redneck's Wine Glass. So funny and cute! I love it so much that instead of drinking out of it, I am going to use it for decoration.
Peanut carmel flavored pop corn. Its the shape of actual corn! Looks yummy
Two different types of hot coco. May get used soon because a cold front is coming in!

Thanks so much Kim! You did an awesome job!

Ya know what I love?

I also love the fact that its a little bit cooler outside and I don't feel like I'm sitting in an oven out back.
I especially love blog love... nice comments always make me feel so good, especially when I have body imagine issues. Thank you everyone...you are great!

I also love...
A baby boy who likes to look at himself in the mirror.
