Wore

Brought little miss Sutton outside to do some "what I wore" posts
because she was being a bit fussy.
I don't mind because it means pictures with her but my goodness the girl is getting heavy!

Outfit details
Earrings: Furnishing for her. Vest:Kohls.
Razor Back Smoothing tank: Kiki La'rue
Shorts: Old Navy. Sandals: Charming Charlie.

This is an outfit I would never hesitate to throw on.
I love it because I feel good in it and have more confidence.
Maybe that seems silly to people,
but by having confidence in myself, it's elsewhere too.
Feeling good about myself allows to be a better wife and mother.
This outfit is definitely one of my go-to outfits
because it's simply, easy, and I feel good in it.
Simple + easy + feel good = more confidence = better wife and mom in my book!
What's not to love about that?

Do you have a go-to outfit?
One that makes you feel more confident?
One that makes you feel like a better person because of it?

Wore

Disclosure: This post includes affiliate links, which means I may recieve credit
if you decide to purchase anything from the company.
I only blog about companies I love, so you know that this company is a good one!

I haven't done a what I wore post in forever.
The last time I did I was pregnant with Sutton,
but I really haven't been comfortable with my body until now.
Considering I'm feeling more confident and more like my self because of the whole30,
I decided it'd be fun to do a wore post today!
I think these posts may happen more often as I work on becoming a healthier me
and also because I want to motivate myself to actually get dressed instead of
throwing on workout clothes or pjs for the day!
I want to share more of my mom-style as well and how I got this jcrew for absolutely free!
Isn't that amazing? Seriously, I've walked into jcrew
and walked right back out because of the prices!
Cute clothes, but noway can this mama afford any at jcrew!

So, how did I manage to snag this cute tank for free? Let me give you the details!
Twice is an online site that sells second hand clothing,
but they are top notch, brand name!
If I walked into the store this tank seriously would have cost me $68!
I would never pay that much for a tank top even if it was this cute!
When I signed up I got a $10 credit and then downloaded their app on my iPhone,
which gave me another $10. That's $20 just for signing up - I'm all about free money!
This pink top was marked down to $13.95,
which means I didn't even have to pay shipping.
I even have over a dollar left to use towards another purchase!
Want to snag some name brand clothes for super cheap or even free?
What are you waiting for?
Sign up here and don't forget to download the app on your phone.

Outfit details
Earrings: gifted from my mom. Necklace: oragami owl. Tank: Twice
Capris: No idea! Sandals:Kohls.

I definitely look forward to finding more cute clothes on twice.
Its great to be able to dress nicely on a budget!
Did I mention that I haven't been able to fit into these pants in a long time?
I was pretty happy about that! I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm getting there!

Have you tried out twice? Or any other second hand clothing site?
Where to shop when you're on a budget! Seriously, tell me!

What I Wore (Stitch Fix Addition)

I've been wanting to do a stitch fix for a while,
but I was super hesitant for someone else to do the shopping for me,
even if they had a hint at what my style was.
Well, I finally gave in because either way it would be fun!

For those of you who don't know what Stitch Fix is let me explain.
Stitch Fix is like getting a personal stylist sent to your home.
You fill out a style profile and then they send you items based on that.
You get a total of five items and can keep as many as you would like.
I love it because everything is complete surprise
and you get things maybe you wouldn't otherwise try out.
Also, the $20 styling fee goes towards your purchase.
If you still don't understand let me know. I don't always explain things well! ;)

Now, onto my fix!

This tee was the first thing I pulled out of the box and I loved it right away!
I'm a sucker for stripes plus this would be the perfect shirt for the 4th of July!
It fit okay, but was a little tight across my stomach so I sent it back.

I loved this top so much.
It was comfortable and cute, plus not something I normally would pick out.
However, the price was a bit much for me right now.

I loved the feel of this top. So silky, but the way it fit wasn't great.
It hugged all the wrong places and felt a bit too professional for me.
Something I just wouldn't wear.

I love the idea of a blazer, plus it has stripes.
However, I'm just not a blazer girl.

This slouch long sleeve tee was my absolute favorite.
It is so soft and stretchy.
I slipped it on and instantly felt great.
It is so flattery in every area and made me feel skinny!
I love that!
My husband even told me I should keep this one, so I did!

Wear

I haven't done a wear post since I was pregnant, I don't believe.
Partly because nothing really fits me the way I *like*...
And also because I spend a lot of time in yoga pants, which I love.

When I did post them they usually fall on Wednesdays when I link up with The Pleated Poppy, but I'm doing it today because tomorrow is my birthday and I have a fun giveaway for you!
It's going to be a fun giveaway of my favorite things.
Winner takes all, so make sure you come check that out!
You won't be disappointed. I promise!

Onto this post. I thought it'd be fun to do a mom and daughter post.
Hopefully I can do these every once and a while.
I'd love to get Braden in on them too, but he's two and I can't get him to sit still for the life of me!
So it's just Mavey and I this week!

^^^One of my favorite outfits right now because I feel comfortable in it and don't look like I just had a baby 5 months ago. Also, Maeva's outfit was completely free thanks to my parents!^^^

Heat wave, anyone?

Black tank, skirt, flip flops: Old Navy. Purple tank: Delias. Earrings: Gift.

Maybe the title of this blog post should read, "Who isn't in a heat wave?" Seriously, is the sun trying to melt the earth and all the people on it? So hot! I am always impressed by the fashion bloggers who are able to wear pants or button down shirts for the sake of fashion in this heat. I like clothes, but I like not feeling like I am in an oven, better. So, today I went with simple and I didn't do my hair because my body was begging me not to turn on the blow dyer or use the hair straightener. I gladly listened.
